I was privileged to grow up in a small Mining town on the beautiful West Coast of Tasmania. Always surrounded by wonderful friends & family, the sense of community was second to none. I moved away when I was in my early 20's to experience how wonderful life could be in other parts of Australia.
Eventually moving back to Tasmania's West Coast in the 90's & settling down with a young family of my own in the picturesque little fishing village of Strahan.
Settling down brings with it many other pleasures such as the joys of parenthood, having pets, including chooks & learning all about gardening & growing fruit & vegies etc.
Now my children are 16 & 19 yrs age, our little dog is almost 18 yrs of age and just starting to show signs of wearing out. We still have the back yard chooks which provide us an amazing amount of happiness.
