No Walter has never been in a show, just you regular farm raised Turkey. He doesn't seem to be very interested in his wife either so I can't see any little Walters any time soon...
He is a beautiful Bronzewing..give hime time to mate they will do the job when you least expect them to..mine do ok, I keep my heavy boys away from the lighter girls though, may need a saddle, she might not like getting slammed down by a heavy guy..try the saddle as it may make a difference to the mating game.
I do find the Bronzewing a little more striking than the others though, something about the changing of the colours as the light hits them, I have a few or maybe a fair few..I am waiting to see what I get out of the brooder in a few weeks plus have two more hens sitting right now. I have poults out of Bronzewing hens and bronzewing Toms which are all out of mixed parents, will post photos soon of all the poults looking different probable colours.
