I used to have a bantam Wyandotte roo that flew up onto the top of 6' chain-linked gate into my food garden to do the same thing!

he used to fly up to a 2 metre  high fence to do it, but has lost almost all his flight feathers when he got into a fight with something and can only fly up to that one now!

hes moulted now, and has decided that the raspberry frame is a better place to do it now-its about twice the height!
