the chicks hatch as whites not pyles , the hens are whites not pyles hence the term brass backed white . They are a recessive white , same as the black brass back pattern .....they trace back to the same family of white fowl that A.P O'conner took to the states in 1906
call them what you like we would call that colour lemon pile

no welchman , you can call them what you like ...A chick that hatches pure white is a white ! You can use exhibition terms and I'll call them what they are....
