This one hatched from the same purchased eggs as previous Silver Birchen Pekin. What would you call it's colouring? The photo from the egg owner showed birchen and buff in their flock.
Thanks for the comments. How is a mealy grey achieved and is it a recognised Pekin colour? What would the parents have been? My dilemma is, I incubated 2 batches of Pekin eggs, from 2 different people, at the same time. So now I'm trying to determine whether this one came from the person with the Birchin and Buff flock or the other.

yes she is a mealy grey and looks lik she will be very nice and silver. you can cross these to birchin to maintain them. also black cross would be ok if you black is a silver . mealy grey is a recognized colour. the pekin bantam book has a chapter on the colour.
