Ditto re the hens. Mine have not done well incubated/raised in brooder, but are going brilliantly under hens - 80% hatch rates and thriving chicks,even hatching days apart. Will keep sitting til they all hatch. Also the hens are fantastic to handle even with chicks - no nastiness, happy to let you handle chicks etc.
