Hi Wildman,

Thanks for you comments. I do plan on line breeding the birds. Going to pair breed the birds and keep records of the offspring from each hen.
Will probably investigate an outcross with some birds with less reach, but with heavier bone. The plan is to choose a nice bird from my line to outcross with then breed back to my line. Keeping track of each breeding and seeing how the offspring turns out. I have made a deal with a mate, he has heavier boned and birds with less reach. He likes the cleaner wheaten colour of my hens and esp the cockerels reach.
When you use the term 'butch' do you mean physically or personality wise?
