the line is fiction. these old fellows in the indian game club swapped birds among themselves. they picked up birds they liked and added them to their birds. they gave them to others who bred them to their birds. they were skilled breeders and showmen who new what a good bird was, even if it were not fully mature. they also new what the judges prefered. they gave me birds, i gave them birds and i garentee you my birds were a mixture of many lines. the offords never inflicted their ideas on anyone, they let you believe what you want to believe. they would never ever create waves.
