Um, a lot of the ducks pictured are not showing silver appleyard colouring as you would expect of young duck/drakes with their adult colouring starting to show... So honestly , in my opinion, anyhow, using colouring based on appleyard development to sex them really won't work. Appleyard quacks male/female are slightly different, but not as different as some other breeds, so unless you know what to listen for again, isn't going to be failproof. Honestly, unless you know what you're looking for I'd wait until the drakes develop the curly tail feather or you've seen him actively mate (not just mount) a duck. Good luck!

Hi PennyPippa,
If you could use the code at the Linked medium (image) to the right of each pic when you post in your forum threads it will make it easier for viewers to navigate from the forum by clicking on your photo. This also means that interested people can use gallery functions such as the slide show to enjoy other photos that you post.
I have edited into the photo details above, a link to your forum thread.

I have added, into your photo details, a link to the forum thread.
If you copy the linked image code into your forum thread it will allow viewers easier navigation between the Forum & Gallery. That means clicking on the image in your post will open it in the Gallery and people can see what other pics you have posted and other information including comments.
