Yes ruff you are as observant as ever, the thing you have to realize that the Brahma and Cochin breeds in Australia are still a work in progress. IN other words Rome was not built in a day. Some Brahmas still are Pea split for blade or Pea split for rose which causes the comb to not exibit the true triple comb feature. It is something Brahma breeders are still wotking on and they are well aware that there is still much work to be done, but then that is the case for many of our breeds both rare and not so rare. He is still a nice bird and when you think 10 years or so ago, they did not exist then all credit to their breeders and creators I say. The Cochin Man

i understand that cochinman. i noticed the light cock bird in the show pen i just put up also had it. it is interesting to know and notice that it is very different to a malay type. i am interested in the subtlties of the multiple little aspects of combs that make them ideal or not so ideal. at least it is small and neat.
